I did two paintings for painting of the day today. One that was REALLY BAD and one that was so-so. For the first three hour class I tried a portrait which from the get go didn't feel right. The lay-in never connected and once I started painting it it only got worse. I thought I could fix it in the second half of the class but it just wasn't working out so I scrubbed it and started a whole new painting. The rough figure above is from the later half of the class.
On a side note, the Chargers got gypped!
